About CamCrossing

CamCrossing is an independent directory for adults aged eighteen or over. It shows who is live right now on five cam platforms, side by side, with a platform badge on every room so you always know where a room is hosted. The site is in English only.

What the site does

Each platform CamCrossing tracks (Stripchat, Chaturbate, BongaCams, Cam4 and MyFreeCams) publishes a list of its public rooms. CamCrossing reads those public listings at regular intervals, every few minutes, and turns them into pages you can browse: who is live now, hubs by category (women, couples, trans, men), by language, by country, by topic and by platform, and profile pages for individual rooms.

A profile page shows only what CamCrossing has observed itself: the days a room was seen live over the last thirty days, its usual hours (converted to your time zone by your browser), the average and peak audience seen in its public room, its follower count, the languages and country it declares, and the topic labels CamCrossing assigns. MyFreeCams' listing does not publish audience, language or country, so those fields are absent from MyFreeCams profiles. A performer's picture appears only while they are live and comes straight from the platform as an official image. CamCrossing stores no images.

How the checks work

"Live" on CamCrossing means the room was seen in the public listing at the latest check. Averages are built from these repeated checks: an average audience is the mean of the audiences seen in the public room across the checks where it was live, and a peak is the highest audience seen at one check. Private and paid shows are outside what the public listing shows, so they are outside our figures too.

Our trends page uses the same checks to show how activity rises and falls by hour, by hub and by platform.

Why several platforms side by side

Each platform is organised differently, and many viewers use one without ever looking at the others. Putting the lists on the same page lets you compare like with like: the same category, the same language, the same hour, which is what the comparison pages do.

What CamCrossing shows

CamCrossing shows what the platforms list publicly and what our checks record, nothing more. Rooms, video and chat are hosted by the platforms. On a Stripchat or Chaturbate profile page, the live player is the platform's own official embed. On profile pages from the three other platforms, the page shows the platform's official live picture while the performer is live, with a link to the room. CamCrossing hosts no video. Each platform account has its own profile page, even when two usernames look alike, because usernames are unique only within a platform.

A performer who prefers not to have a profile page on CamCrossing can ask for its removal by email. The contact page explains how.

Affiliate disclosure

Links from CamCrossing to each of the five platforms may be affiliate links. If you sign up or buy tokens after following one, CamCrossing may earn a commission from the platform. The price you pay stays the same. Commissions keep the site running; they have no effect on which rooms appear, in what order, or what the profile pages say.
